DAY-IN-THE-LIFE DOCUMENTARIES

A Day-in-the-Life Documentary is a portrayal of how a life has been changed due to an injury, by showing the client's daily routines through the use of video tape, and need not be restricted to catastrophic injuries. These documentaries are used in conjunction with the expert testimony of physicians, physical and occupational therapists, and rehabilitation experts, and aid in giving credibility to their testimony.

Day-in-the-Life Documentaries are not new to the legal community. They were first introduced in the 1960's on film. Since then, however, videotaping has become perfected and is the much preferred method of making these documentaries. When a Day-in-the-Life Documentary is done properly (fairly and accurately), the jury should be riveted, quite possibly making this your most effective piece of evidence.
